MURDER AT APPRAISAL – An Antique Mystery (Vol. II)

  • An entertaining cozy mystery with a charming protagonist and antiques expertise.

On appraisal day at Siggi's antique store, a crowd gathers. Amid the chaos, Siggi makes a horrifying discovery: a body on his property. Again. It is nearly impossible to drown in the replica Roman Trevi Fountain. Someone must have pushed the man under the water. Siggi fears the worst: was the murder attempt meant for him? The victim, with a similar build and wearing the same baseball cap, looks just like him. Or could it be related to the suitcase full of junk he just bought from the man?

Waldi Lehnertz

Waldi Lehnertz , born in 1967 in Prüm, has become a cult figure, much like the popular tv show "Bares für Rares" in which he has been an antique dealer since the first episode. When he is not in front of the camera for the show, this trained horseman runs an antique shop in the Eifel region. Here, he welcomes busloads of fans and entertains guests at the antique café with anecdotes from his life as an antique dealer. Some of these stories may have inspired this crime novel. If he has any spare time, he enjoys fishing or creating his own artworks.
