Working in a call centre can be hell, as Kuli and Paul know only too well. Their boss is an absolute control freak, the customers are rude and the entire company seems staffed by weirdoes and misfits. One day, they ‘witness’ a crime while on the phone to a customer. A few days later, a florist is found dead and Kuli finds a photo of the victim in his letterbox; the photo also compromises a famous politician. The two lads decide to start their own investigation. Which is when the situation really starts to get out of control ...

Sven Stricker

Sven Stricker was born in 1970 and grew up in Mülheim an der Ruhr. He studied comparative literature, English and modern history. Since 2001 he has been working as a freelance director, editor and author, winning the German Audiobook Award several times. Sven Stricker was nominated for the Glauser-Preis in 2017 and 2024 for his  Sörensen novels ,  the TV production of  Sörensen hat Angst  won the German Television Crime Award 2021 as well as the Austrian TV Award Romy. In 2022, Stricker was awarded the Grimme Prize for the screenplay. He lives in Potsdam and has a daughter.
