Two women, joined in friendship, separated by betrayal. They can only find themselves again by joining forces …

Ruthless business deals are made with the hopes of the people in the emigration halls in Hamburg. Ava has also done everything in her power to find her own family in America – only to be duped in the worst possible way. By the woman who was closer to her than a sister.
Claire has made powerful enemies among the group of fraudsters in the emigration business. In order to save her own life, she has to give up everything. She has to follow Ava. And at the same time betray a man who she loved more than anything. But now she is fighting. For Ava. And love. And her life.
