‘Rendezvous in Infinity’ is the most successful and demanding work of literature completed by Klaus Mann prior to his exile. The novel paints a fascinating portrait of the “lost generation” in Germany during the Weimar Republic: Young people torn between longing and despair, political rebellion and individual escapism.
