Police inspector Georg Stadler is called to a very unusual crime scene: a knife, a red child’s coat and a pool of blood have been found in a factory building. Instead of a corpse, there’s a mysterious code on a wall. Two days later another very similar scene is discovered. But this time, there’s a body. And another code. Stadler asks Liz Montario, a specialist in deciphering messages left by criminals, for her help. The crime scenes remind him of film sets. Are they connected to snuff films? Before Liz can decode the messages, Stadler himself is the centre of the investigation; his DNA is found at a crime scene. And he was the last person to see the victim alive…

The third volume of a series of thrillers featuring inspector Georg Stadler and the psychologist Liz Montario.
