WHEN SANDWORMS CRY - AN EAST FRISIAN CRIME NOVEL

On a beautiful summer’s day in Neuharlingersiel, charming marketing manager Ulfert Johannsen is found dead in his beach chair. The cause of death: poisoned red wine. The crime department concentrate on the man’s numerous female acquaintances. But the village policeman Rudi, postman Henner and teacher Rosa look further afield: they discover that both Johannsen and the recently deceased headmaster of the local primary school belong to a sworn hunting community. Are the two deaths connected? Rosa, who would actually prefer to take a beekeeping course, intervenes when her friend Holger is killed in an accident and the same poison is found in his body.
