A girl’s body is discovered in an abandoned children’s home on the island of Rügen. Sixteen-year-old Isa has been brutally murdered, and a black rose is found at the scene. The police alert ex-police commissioner Henry Zornik. Five years ago, a string of murders of young tourists brought terror to the island. This murder bears the same bloody hallmark as the “rose murderer” from that time. Zornik himself convicted him. Is Isa’s murderer a copycat killer? Or is the real rose murderer killing again, and does he already have his blade of death trained on his next victim?
