A LOVE WITHOUT SUMMER

  • What happens when true love ends before it has ever really begun?
  • A love story like no other, hitting you right in the heart.
  • Highly entertaining and surprising.

“I met you twice. The first time you were there, the second time you were not.”

When Rosa meets Nikolas on a rainy day, her heart makes the first of many leaps: Nikolas is charming, humorous, and the sparks immediately fly between them. They spend three intimate months together, and the fact that Nikolas seems hesitant to introduce Rosa to his friends only bothers her a little.

But then there is a tragic accident … and Nikolas is dead. While her family and friends are certain Rosa must sink into deep grief, she repeatedly asks herself two questions: Who was Nikolas, really - and what could they have become?

In search of answers, Rosa sets out to find the people who were close to Nikolas. In doing so, she meets not only his ex-girlfriend, his surprisingly hostile best friend, and an extraordinary child, but also a whole new side of Nikolas. Because there is something he never told her ...

Timothy Paul has long worked in the book industry. His utterly charming debut novel about the countless facets of love hits the heart - and stays there.
