BEAUTIFUL ENOUGH! – How I Let Go of Unrealistic Beauty Standards and Found Myself

  • This book helps women embrace their beauty and challenge unrealistic beauty standards.
  • On addressing body image and self-acceptance for women over 40.

Why are we never enough? Not beautiful enough, not thin enough, not perfect enough?

We talk about self-love and body positivity, embracing "bodies in all shapes and sizes" – yet we are still deeply unsettled by beauty ideals and perfection on Instagram and TikTok. Rarely are we able to truly find our bodies beautiful, especially as we age past 20. Why is this the case?
Susanne Krammer herself fell into this trap for years. As a fashion and beauty journalist, she fueled these ideals, and the desire to appear even "more perfect" nearly cost her her life when an unnecessary cosmetic surgery went wrong, and she had to be saved by emergency surgery after developing severe sepsis.

In her book, she addresses how this happened – and why, despite feminism and activism, most women still seem to struggle with accepting themselves as they are: beautiful.
