This powerful book challenges our deeply held beliefs about friendship and romance, boldly painting the picture of a utopia we truly long for in our lives.

Luzia grows up in a community that serves as a sanctuary for a diverse group of people. Inside their house, queer and platonic forms of love, alongside co-parenting, are actively lived. Years later, as an adult and theater director, Luzia fights against patriarchal structures, determined to spark meaningful change. Meanwhile, her childhood friend Marle, now in her early forties, feels a strong desire to have a child and chooses an unconventional path - independent of traditional relationships with men.

But when a devastating storm suddenly hits, everything this chosen family has built over decades is threatened. What does it take for such a community to survive and endure in times like these?
