MINDING THE POSTS: MY LIFE AS A GLOBAL GOALKEEPER

Lutz Pfannenstiel is probably the only professional soccer player who has worked in all corners of the globe. He has played in front of fanatic crowds of 100,000 in Iran and been pelted with rocks in Albania. He was wrongly imprisoned for 101 days in Singapore. And after a collision with an opponent in England, he was carted off the pitch – clinically dead! This is an unusual memoir by an unusual athlete.
