Laura Willud , geboren 1997, wuchs in Niedersachsen auf und lebt mittlerweile in Zürich, wo sie derzeit an ihrer nächsten Romanreihe arbeitet. In ihrer Jugend spielte sie selbst lange in einem Basketballverein. Mit ihren Büchern über die College-Basketballmannschaft der Hopeville Dragons  erfüllte sie sich einen Autorinnentraum. Neben dem Schreiben und Lesen verbringt sie ihre Freizeit am liebsten beim Sport oder Bergwandern.
