IF WE SAVE THE OCEANS, WE SAVE THE WORLD - HOW WE CAN TREAT WORLD'S OCEANS SUSTAINABLY AND ALL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Topical, personal and informative: a particular perspective on our existential habitat.
  • "We used to believe we could not harm our oceans. We believed the oceans were simply too big. But that is not the case. This is why it is our task to restore the balance. This is what I am fighting for." - Heike Vesper

It is not too late: an emphatic plea to take action!

In this book, Heike Vesper, marine biologist, WWF director and passionate diver, describes the fascination of life under water, the fight to protect the world’s oceans from overfishing, exploitation and pollution and the significance of the oceans for the survival of mankind. She shows that it is not too late to protect this unique habitat. What possibilities are there to intervene? How can each and every one of us become a part of this rethinking, and where should politics take action so that industry does too?
