The “Inner Team” and situationally adapted communication. Communication, Person, Situation

Talking With Each Other 1 describes communication as a meeting of two or more humans, each of whom uses four “ears” and four “voices”. Talking With Each Other 2 draws on this description to develop insights into a range of communication ‘styles’. These two volumes and their ideas are synthesised in volume 3, which presents the model of the Inner Team, which shapes our speech, action and our personalities. The author uses a wealth of examples from the workplace and private life to elucidate the workings of the Inner Team and its leader, the ego. Understanding the diversity of our inner voices and helping our inner team develop in turn enable us to act decisively and communicate effectively, both in consensus with ourselves and meeting the demands of any given situation.

Volume 3 introduces the Inner Team model, itself based on the idea that understanding ourselves makes us better communicators. This book contains everything you need to communicate effectively.
