MARCONI AND THE SILENT LAMBS (Vol. III)

  • Only the sheep were witnesses: the third and most complex case yet for Massimo Marconi.
  • Murder and culture clash: Moingiorno on the North Sea - where a dead body in a water trough poses a riddle.

Marconi makes the acquaintance of North Frisia's unofficial landmark: the sheep. Just three months after his involuntary move to the North Sea, a murder occurs on the otherwise tranquil Eiderstedt peninsula: The real estate agent Jonas Torp is found dead in the trough of a sheep cheese factory.

Once again, Marconi and his colleagues are all too happy to seize the investigative initiative. This time, they are supported by the so-called "resort police", who are serving their time at the St. Peter-Ording police station and are not exactly covered in glory.

Alongside the investigation, Marconi continues trying to solve the mysterious death of his brother, Nevio. Luckily, his niece and nephew are currently with their grandparents, because the case involving the body in the cheese factory soon demands Marconi’s undivided attention - and it quickly becomes clear: behind the murder lies a tragedy of much larger proportions.
